Scott Pinkerton CFP®, AIF®, CIMA®, CPWA®
Senior Partner, Planner
Scott is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® who began his career in financial planning in 1985. He also completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst® program through the Wharton School of Finance, and later became a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® through the Investments & Wealth Institute at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. CPWA® is an advanced credential for wealth managers who work with high-net-worth families and individuals, focusing on the life cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution.
In 2020, Scott was named to the Barron’s Top 1200 Advisors and the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors.* He achieved a trifecta of similar recognition in 2019, being named to the same two lists as well as The Financial Times 400 Top Advisors. He has been named to the Barron’s list more times in the past 12 years than any other financial advisor who applied on Florida’s west coast, from Tampa to Fort Myers.
Scott is a longtime philanthropist, deacon in his church and an avid cyclist. He and his wife of more than 30 years, Julie, have three grown daughters and one granddaughter.
Ryan Henderson CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CEP®
Ryan is a Certified Financial Planner™ who has been advising clients and helping them with their financial plans since 2004. He gained experience with some of the largest investment companies in the nation including JP Morgan Chase and Fidelity Investments, where he held positions including planning consultant and wealth advisor to ultra-high-net-worth clients. He has also been a private wealth planner with Creative Planning, a large private Registered Investment Advisor. He has special expertise in complex planning needs from multigenerational wealth transfer to difficult tax issues.
Ryan is a sixth generation Floridian but pursued his education in Missouri and Indiana. He holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington as well as multiple certifications in financial planning and insurance. He has two children and in his spare time enjoys coaching and volunteering.
Betsy Steiner Family Office Services
In concert with the planners at FourThought Signature, Betsy works with ultra-high-net-worth, multigenerational families as well as family offices, nonprofits, and businesses throughout the U.S., designing and implementing initiatives for family advancement and organizational growth. She counsels individuals, families, executives and boards on topics ranging from visioning and planning to philanthropy and stewardship.
Betsy’s experience in this arena is deep. She has consulted, facilitated and trained for more than 20 years, with in-depth experience in philanthropy, governance, and leadership. She has received specialized training from organizations including BoardSource, La Piana and Independent Means, Inc.
